The governing board of the Uzbekistan–Finland Friendship Society is a key management body that sets the society’s strategic goals and direction. It is responsible for improving the effectiveness of the society’s work and ensuring its development in line with its mission and goals.

Main responsibilities of the board

Setting the society’s strategy

Develops the society’s long-term development strategy and oversees its proper implementation.

Organizational management and oversight

Makes key decisions to improve the society’s effectiveness, ensure financial transparency and strengthen its organizational structure.

Developing cooperation

Helps expand the foundation’s reach by strengthening ties with international organizations, public authorities and the private sector.

Approving grants and projects

Reviews the society’s grant programs, research and innovation projects, assessing their effectiveness and relevance.

Increasing the society’s social impact

Promotes friendship and trade, investment, scientific and cultural cooperation between Uzbekistan and Finland, enhances Uzbekistan’s international standing, and facilitates international cooperation and information exchange with public organizations.
